Firestone Auto Detail Website and Service Terms

Website Terms of Use & Service Disclaimers

These terms explain the rules for using this website and set general expectations for estimates, appointments, vehicle preparation, detailing services, service limitations, customer property, payments, and communications with Firestone Auto Detail.

Effective date: August 16, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

Using the website

By accessing or using this website, submitting an inquiry, or communicating with Firestone Auto Detail through a website-generated message, you agree to these Terms of Use and Service Disclaimers.

These website terms provide general rules and expectations. A written estimate, work authorization, invoice, dealer agreement, text confirmation, or other service-specific agreement may contain additional terms. When a service-specific agreement conflicts with these general terms, the more specific written agreement controls to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

2. Website Use

Permitted and prohibited use

You may use this website for lawful personal or business purposes related to learning about Firestone, reviewing services, booking eligible retail services, requesting an estimate, contacting the business, or discussing a commercial account.

You may not:

  • Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading activity
  • Attempt to interfere with website security, availability, code, forms, or data
  • Submit false contact information, impersonate another person, or misrepresent ownership or authority over a vehicle
  • Copy, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit website content without authorization
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, harmful files, or content that violates another person’s rights

3. Estimates and Pricing

Condition-based estimates

Website prices, starting prices, examples, and verbal or photo-based estimates are informational and may not be final. Vehicle size, materials, condition, contamination, pet hair, stains, odors, mold concerns, paint condition, prior repairs, access, requested result, and labor can affect the final scope and price.

Firestone may revise an estimate after inspecting the vehicle or discovering conditions that were not visible or disclosed beforehand. Additional work should be discussed and authorized before it is performed when reasonably practical.

Submitting an estimate or contact request does not reserve an appointment, create a service contract, or guarantee availability, completion time, price, or result. Eligible standard retail services may instead be booked through Firestone’s online-booking page when live availability is shown.

4. Appointments and Scheduling

Appointment confirmation

For eligible standard retail services, a successful online booking is confirmed when the booking system accepts the appointment and provides a confirmation. Estimate requests, contact-form submissions, requested dates, and preferred timeframes are not appointments unless Firestone separately confirms them.

Online availability is capacity-based and may change as appointments are added, moved, or cancelled. Firestone may contact a customer if a booking contains inaccurate information, a vehicle condition requires a different scope, or another issue makes the selected service or time inappropriate.

Estimated-ready and completion times are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur because of vehicle condition, additional authorized work, weather, equipment issues, staffing, product availability, commercial-volume demands, or other conditions outside Firestone’s reasonable control.

Customers should notify Firestone promptly if they need to change or cancel an appointment. Any deposit, cancellation, late-arrival, storage, or no-show term applies only when separately communicated and agreed.

5. Vehicle Preparation and Customer Responsibility

Before drop-off

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the vehicle and any known concerns that may affect safety, access, service, or results.

  • Remove valuables, cash, firearms, medications, important documents, electronics, and sensitive personal items
  • Remove or secure loose cargo and empty areas expected to be cleaned
  • Disclose mold, bodily fluids, pests, sharp objects, hazardous materials, water intrusion, electrical problems, broken components, or unsafe conditions
  • Disclose aftermarket electronics, alarms, immobilizers, air suspension controls, custom paint, wraps, coatings, repairs, loose trim, or other modifications
  • Provide keys, wheel-lock information, access instructions, and any special operating directions reasonably needed for the service

Firestone may decline, limit, pause, or reschedule work when a vehicle presents an undisclosed safety, contamination, access, or liability concern.

6. Service Results and Limitations

No guarantee of complete restoration

Detailing is an improvement service, not a promise that every surface, stain, odor, scratch, defect, or damaged component will be restored to new condition.

Results vary based on age, material, condition, prior care, prior repairs, contamination, sun exposure, chemical damage, wear, clear-coat thickness, fabric construction, and other factors outside Firestone’s control.

Firestone may provide an expected-result range, but photographs, prior vehicles, website examples, and customer reviews do not guarantee an identical result for another vehicle.

7. Paint, Trim, Coatings, and Exterior Surfaces

Exterior-service limitations

  • Standard detailing does not remove every scratch, chip, swirl, etching mark, oxidation defect, or area of clear-coat failure
  • Paint correction reduces selected defects but removes a measurable amount of paint or clear coat and cannot safely correct every defect
  • Deep scratches, chips, peeling paint, failing clear coat, body damage, poor prior repairs, and severe etching may require refinishing or body-shop work
  • Ceramic coatings, waxes, and sealants are not scratch-proof, chip-proof, dent-proof, permanent, or maintenance-free
  • Previously repaired, repainted, wrapped, coated, or deteriorated surfaces may react differently to cleaning, polishing, tape, chemicals, pressure, or heat
  • Loose trim, failing emblems, brittle plastics, damaged seals, aged decals, and deteriorated finishes may worsen during otherwise reasonable service

Firestone may recommend a test area, reduced service scope, or referral when a surface appears unstable or unsafe to treat.

8. Interior Conditions, Stains, Odors, and Contamination

Interior-service limitations

Some stains permanently alter dyes, fibers, plastics, leather, vinyl, headliners, or other materials. Odors may originate in carpet padding, seat foam, ventilation systems, water intrusion, mold, biological material, or hidden areas that ordinary detailing cannot fully reach.

Pet hair, embedded debris, smoke residue, severe stains, excessive trash, mold, pests, bodily fluids, or other contamination may require added labor, specialized treatment, restricted service, or referral. Firestone may decline conditions that present a health or safety risk.

Odor reduction is not a guarantee of permanent odor elimination. Odors can return when the source remains in hidden material or when humidity, heat, or ventilation reactivates it.

9. Preexisting Damage and Vehicle Condition

Existing wear and defects

Vehicles may contain preexisting scratches, chips, dents, cracks, stains, loose trim, failed adhesives, worn coatings, electrical issues, water leaks, brittle materials, failing upholstery, damaged controls, or other defects that become more noticeable after cleaning.

Firestone may document visible condition before, during, or after service. The absence of a photograph does not establish that a condition was caused by Firestone.

Customers should report concerns promptly after pickup and provide a reasonable opportunity for Firestone to inspect the vehicle and review the service.

10. Personal Property

Items left in the vehicle

Customers should remove all valuable, fragile, confidential, dangerous, or irreplaceable property before service. Firestone is not responsible for ordinary personal items left unsecured, hidden, discarded with trash, or damaged because they were not disclosed or removed, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Firestone may move ordinary items as reasonably needed to access surfaces. Compartments or cargo areas that remain full may be skipped or cleaned only around the contents.

11. Photos and Service Documentation

Condition records and portfolio use

Firestone may photograph or record a vehicle to document condition, existing damage, service progress, completed work, estimate concerns, or customer-service issues.

Vehicle images may also be used in Firestone’s portfolio, website, social media, or marketing when the presentation does not intentionally reveal sensitive customer information. Firestone should avoid displaying personal documents, addresses, and other private information and may obscure license plates when appropriate.

Customers may request that identifiable vehicle images not be used publicly. Requests should be made before service or as soon as reasonably possible.

12. Payments and Service Authorization

Payment obligations

Payment is due according to the estimate, invoice, account agreement, or other terms communicated for the service. Firestone’s current online-booking process does not collect payment at the time of booking. Available payment methods should be confirmed when needed.

A customer who authorizes service represents that they own the vehicle or have authority from the owner to approve the work and payment.

Additional work, upgraded services, unusual-condition labor, transportation, storage, or other charges apply only when separately disclosed and authorized as required by applicable law or agreement.

13. Dealership and Commercial Accounts

Separate account terms

Dealer, fleet, body-shop, and commercial relationships may require separate pricing, volume, invoicing, transportation, access, insurance, turnaround, approval, quality-standard, and termination terms.

Website account inquiries do not create an account or guarantee pricing, capacity, pickup, return, on-site work, mobile service, or a particular turnaround time. Recurring work begins only after Firestone and the business agree on the operating arrangement.

14. Reviews, Testimonials, and Feedback

Honest customer opinions

Customers remain free to share honest opinions about Firestone’s services. Firestone does not require customers to surrender the right to post truthful reviews or feedback.

Reviews and testimonials shown on the website reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee that every customer or vehicle will receive the same result.

Feedback submitted directly to Firestone may be used to improve operations. Firestone should obtain appropriate permission before presenting private feedback as a public endorsement when permission is reasonably required.

15. Intellectual Property

Website content and brand assets

The Firestone name, logos, graphics, custom design elements, website code, written content, original photographs, videos, and other original materials are owned by Firestone Auto Detail or used with permission and may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other law.

You may view and share ordinary links to the website for personal or informational purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, sell, license, remove ownership notices from, or commercially exploit protected content without written permission.

17. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Reasonable limits

The website is provided for general informational and communication purposes. Firestone makes reasonable efforts to keep information accurate but does not guarantee that every page, price, image, link, description, availability statement, or technical feature will always be complete, current, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Firestone is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising solely from website use, unavailable website features, third-party services, or a customer’s failure to disclose vehicle conditions or remove personal property.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

North Carolina law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without applying conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law.

Before filing a formal claim, customers are encouraged to contact Firestone and provide a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle, review records, and attempt to resolve the concern. This request does not prevent either party from exercising rights or meeting deadlines provided by law.

Any mandatory consumer rights, venue rights, or other protections provided by applicable law remain in effect.

19. Changes to These Terms

Future updates

Firestone may revise these terms as the website, services, business practices, or legal requirements change. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law or a separate agreement requires otherwise.
